So I Didn't expect Cindy to kindle until tomorrow. But she delivered up three BIG kits. I expect they will all be Tricoloured based on their initial appearance (light with some vague to dark spots).

This Sept 9, 2023 lass of Cindy and Omega found herself in a new home. Her breed is holland lop.
She's been trying very hard to get me to call her Ellery (and therefore stay her for a long spell) but now she has the chance to try to convince new people of what she should be called. She's a bright active girlie who likes to explore, and when playtime is over she'll come seek out her people for food. Her colour is broken chestnut and she is part of a litter of six. The other colours in the litter were black otter, chestnut, chocolate otter, and broken black otter. I don't tend to have a lot of success using Facebook to rehome bunnies, but occasionally it works out.
This lovely family (with a sweet baby in tow) joined me at my meeting spot so we could talk bunnies. I brought three kiddos with me and initially it looked like they would take this fellow's sister home, but this lad's calm demeanour won the day. Born as part of a litter of six to Cindy and Omega. He looks so much like his dad! :) I expect he'll turn out to be temperamentally a gentle soul like his papa. His Dad Omega is currently my favourite bun in my herd. His colour is chestnut. Other colours in his litter were black otter, broken chestnut, chocolate otter, and broken black otter. My heart smiled this morning.
A really nice guy came up to meet me after church this morning to pick up this little guy. He was SO delighted to meet him. :) I just totally did my heart good to see his delight. He's off to a home in the capital of Ontario - Toronto. Born as part of a litter of six to Cindy and Omega. this young fellow is a rockstar of a bunny. He looks so much like his gramma! :) His Dad Omega is currently my favourite bun in my herd. He's a sweet, easy-going little guy. I expect he'll grow into a very steady boy. His colour is black otter. Other colours in his litter were chestnut, broken chestnut, chocolate otter, and broken black otter. This lovely family came over last night and picked up this lovely little boy. They are a rabbit experienced home which makes it really nice. :)
Born as part of a litter of six to Cindy and Omega. This little boy I expect will be a stunner as he matures. He looks so much like his gramma! :) His Dad Omega is currently my favourite bun in my herd. He's a gentle soul and I think this boyo will be the same. His colour is black otter. Other colours in his litter were chestnut, broken chestnut, chocolate otter, and broken black otter. So this lovely mom and her kiddo came out to see me the other night. They met a couple of my young rabbits and we chatted for a spell. They asked questions, I answered them, and we spent a nice time together. They went home to consider their options and I got a message saying yes, they could meet me after church to pick up their choice. This absolute darling off Cindy and Omega born on Sept 9, 2023. As part of a litter of six, the colours include chestnut, broken chestnut, black otter, Broken black otter and this little girls colour of chocolate otter. This young lady is a quiet submissive lass. Very easy to handle and hold, a small girl that I expect to finish about 3 lbs. She acts like her daddy did at this age, so I expect she mature to a sweet easy-going lass. Poppy in her new digs
Born Aug 8th as part of a litter of six to Carrot and Caper. She's a darling lass. And I want to be delighted that this black/orange harlequin (her colour) Holland Lop has found a home, but I think I'll miss this little smart aleck. :) As part of litter of six she's used to being bumped around and her momma is a very kind easy-going girl. Her kits, so far, have seemed to be the same. This little girl is a bright little character. She handles well and I think she will benefit from some trick training. A happy smart lass who likes to sit up pretty. This young lady has earned the name Coco. This young lady is a Sept 9 kiddo from Cindy and Omega.
She's a broken black otter (colour) holland lop. Part of a litter of six. Her siblings include two sisters (chocolate otter and broken chestnut) and three brothers (black otter and chestnut). Her mother is generally a very kind doe, though she can be stern when she wants her younglings to be mindful. I expect this little lady (the smallest of the litter) to grow up to be much like her momma, but following after her daddy in size. She's petite like he was (and still is). :) This little lady is called Lailai. A litter of six born to Cindy this morning while I was doing chores. A good mix of colour in the box, time will tell for sure exactly what will come up. I'm hoping for shorter bodied kits. Watch Me GrowSquirt, also known as boy 3, left for his new home today. His owner had previously gotten a look alike from me about 10 years ago and decided it was time to get a new one. This young guy is a Cindy and Caper lad out of a litter of six. Siblings included tricolour and harlequin.
This little harlequin coloured holland lop was born on June 15. He's a sweet-tempered boy and I expect him to grow up to be a lot like his dad. An easy-going boy who adores his food and people. So an old friend of mine stopped in tonight. Seems guinea pigs aren't quite enough for him and his partner so he added some bunnies into their household. The girl will be added into their home and the boy into his sister's household. |
AuthorI have been breeding rabbits for a quite a few years. I thoroughly enjoy them as animals and think they make great pets. I also like to take some of them to rabbit shows to see how they measure up to the standards. For the BEST rabbit forum I've ever found. Go to Rabbittalk.com. Good for the pet rabbit owner as well as the breeder for meat or show.
